A unique angle of this famous tourist area at Rockefeller Plaza and the statue of Prometheus. The Rockefeller Center actually consists of 19 buildings, or used to.  It could be more or less now.  This complex of mostly art deco buildings has a fascinating history you need to read before visiting.  Far too many people go to NYC simply to shop at tourist traps, see a show, watch people and feel the crowded excitement.  All those are great but the history there is unreal!
